The early days of the month have shown considerable high unemployment rates in many of the states especially in such sectors as, construction, retailing, manufacturing, and many mortgage companies still foreclosing and becoming bankrupt then going out of business. In Rhode Island 3000 construction workers were laid off, Oregon lost more than 7000 wood manufacturing jobs including major saw mills being shut down, Textron Inc. an American Industrial manufacture lost a total 2500 jobs, BMW reported in South Carolina laid off over 500 workers in their plants, the National unemployment rate back in December was 7.2 percent. A huge loss was this weekend’s news from Alcoa Inc. cut 6000 jobs, Boeing layoff of 4500 workers, the list’s of old American corporations keep on stacking up day by day.
Mostly due to recent major government spending on bailing out Companies, state facilities, the weakening US dollar which is still losing with the Euro, UK pound, and even the Yen now.
Well the major toss up Americans are facing is bailouts, relief plans, major governments works projects, and more backing off social aid programs. And the other is not bailing out failing sectors of our economy, give all the advice to fearful citizens we can, and try to survive the crash the best we possibly can. Well people see both the pros & cons to each option, yet the worst sounding one is the best one, the more we print money, spend, bailout, it creates a bigger deficit, robs people of their money, and only prolongs the coming economic crash America faces.
Even our long time trading partners China, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, but mostly China has been a long time buyer of US debt, treasury notes, and the effects of our fiat currency are hitting their economy hard now, due to inflation, decrease in demand for US dollars, and the most important aspect it’s purchasing power. The bigger our money supply expands the more its demand decreases, losing purchasing power; credit becoming scarcer, American consumer confidence was a huge driving factor of our economy after and during the Clintons years, the way the dollar went, government interventionism in state social matters, mainly from the second world war on from then there was huge transition of former state powers to the authority of the Federal government.
My father experienced firsthand the rules of leftist liberal intellectuals who say no need to think of, of amount of profit they take from good spirit private business, the rules & regulation’s they impose on peoples work & business, and the after affects they have on the common American family.
One solution I’ve thought of for government funding would be private donations at the people’s discretion, not taken by government force, so if people really want that bridge built, a war fought, or create welfare let anybody who wants to donate to that. People are always entitled to the fruits of their labor, they have the free will to choose how to spend their money, and sometimes break society conventions be independent, a freedom thinker, and most importantly use your reason.
